Claim Tax Relief on Annual ACP-UK Membership Fees
We are delighted to announce that UK taxpayers can now save money on their ACP-UK membership fees through tax relief!
The Association of Clinical Psychologists UK is now an approved professional body, known as List 3. This means members can claim tax relief against their membership fees through the HMRC website.
Who can claim tax back?
To claim tax relief on ACPUK membership fees
- you must have paid tax in that financial year
- your membership fees must be paid by you and not by your employer (or claimed back through them)
- your membership must directly relate to your current work.
How much can be claimed back?
Tax relief is based on what has been have spent and the rate tax paid. For example, if a member spent £200 for an annual membership and pays a 40% tax rate, the tax relief they can claim is £80.
Please note, tax relief does not apply to payments made before the date ACPUK was added to List 3 (i.e. 31/10/22).
