Staff Health and Well-being Network

Home / Member Networks / Staff Health and Well-being Network

The ACP-UK Member Network for Staff Health and Wellbeing was created in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The aims of the network are to promote and advance the role of Clinical Psychologists working to support the health and wellbeing of staff working in health and social care. This includes Clinical Psychologists working directly in staff support roles and those where staff support forms an informal part of their role. The network also seeks to actively collaborate with non-Clinical Psychologists and aims to raise awareness of issues relating to the wider socio-political context in relation to staff health and wellbeing. The network also has a number of sub-groups, focusing on topics such as: equality, diversity and inclusion; generating new research and the experiences of those providing support. The network plans a series of webinars in 2021, focusing on sharing best practice and promoting different evidence-based psychological models for use in staff support.
