Trainee Network

This is a welcoming group for ACP-UK trainee members to gather, exchange views and have their voices heard. There are trainee reps for each UK region, regular events for trainees for CPD, support and hearing experiences. ACP-UK is what its members make it – and trainees views are warmly welcomed and invited. If you are interested in becoming a trainee rep do get in touch. 

The Director of Trainees sits on the ACP-UK Board of Directors and works closely with the Chair, Four Nation Directors and Director of Training. Our trainee members are welcome to make use of the ACP-UK Member Support Scheme, the webinar programme and other events that occur across the year. These include the Trainee Schwartz Rounds, trainee groups within other member networks, such as the Trainee Wellbeing Sub-Group of the Staff Health & Wellbeing Network, and the Climate Action Network. Trainees hold pivotal positions on the advisory panels of networks, including the Complex Mental Health Network and Clinical Health Psychology Network. 

ACP-UK’s lifeblood is the commitment and passion of clinical psychologists wanting to make a change, and we see this in abundance in our trainee members. We are so happy to have you with us, and look forward to meeting you.
