The Association of Clinical Psychologists UK (ACP-UK), the BPS Division of Clinical Psychology (BPS-DCP), and Group of Trainers in Clinical Psychology (GTiCP) would like to acknowledge the difficulty and uncertainty in Clinical Psychology training during the COVID crisis. We have set up a joint working group in order to respond to ongoing trainee difficulties and share best practice. We are utilising the feedback from the ACP Trainee representatives, DCP Pre-qualification and minorities membership, and trainee WhatsApp and Slack groups. As part of this working group, a joint ACP-UK and BPS statement has been developed to offer guidance in relation to some of the concerns raised through these channels.
