We are delighted to announce the launch event for the new ACP-UK Independent Practitioners Network. As well as an introduction to the network itself, there will be presentations on Setting Up in Independent Practice. These will be facilitated by Dr Rosie Gilderthorp and Clare Veal.

Rosie runs Psychology Business School, a membership organisation supporting other psychologists in independent practice, alongside her successful perinatal psychology practice. Clare is a freelance commercial solicitor who specialises in supporting clinical psychologists with legal issues within their practice. Rosie has learned from her own experience of independent practice, as well as from other psychologists, and has invested in support from a range of professionals (such as Clare) to advise on how to set up, maintain and grow a successful practice.
