There is a welcome focus on promoting Human Rights and reducing restrictive practices in mental health settings embodied within current NHS Long Term Plan and CQC guidance, they are also themes within the recent review of the Mental Health Act.  This event in collaboration with BILD, brought together some of the leading experts on restrictive practice and human rights looking at the implications for improving practice in adult mental health services. The webinar was chaired by Dr Selma Ebrahim, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, CMHN lead, and Dr Andrea Davies Consultant Clinical Psychologist and member of the CMHN committee. There was also a panel discussion after the presentations.
