Home / Member Networks / Children, Young People and Families / Children, Young People and Families Network November Update

On the 19th October we met as a network to discuss progress and future plans. It feels like this month has been busy for the network. The year seems to have passed quickly with many of us feeling the impact on increased pressures within our clinical practice. It’s a time of reflection and to start looking towards the next year and what the network hopes to achieve. The network has now developed a working group who are now taking lead roles in developing key areas that members have previously highlighted as wants and needs. Here we are looking to develop consultation practices, develop peer supervision groups and also circulate research and key articles that are highlighted to us to share. Here we outlined that we hoped that the polls previously sent out would give insights into the further needs of network members and discussed some of the plans moving forward. If you haven’t already answered the polls please refer to the previous bulletin. Any ideas are welcome. Equally if you would like a more active role within the network please get in touch.

One request from this bulletin is that we have been approached to respond on “The National care pathway for pregnancy and baby loss”. It would be positive if a network member within this area could aid with a response. You will be supported to do this and it would be in conjunction with Dr Ellie Atkins. Please do contact Ellie, via the ACP members admin if you can offer this.
